Living in different countries has influenced the way I perceive space, color, and atmosphere. These shifts of place continue to inform my imagination and creative process, leaving subtle traces within the work.

I never begin a painting with a plan. There are no sketches or predefined compositions. Each work starts from an impulse and develops through direct engagement with the canvas. Color, texture, and gesture lead the process, allowing the painting to unfold gradually and take its own direction.

I am drawn to abstraction because it reflects the way I understand life. Meaning is not fixed, and perception is never the same from one person to another. Each viewer brings their own experiences, memories, and sensitivity to what they see. Abstraction leaves space for this exchange, without imposing a single narrative.

Every painting is approached as a unique work, created with attention to material, scale, and presence. Rather than illustrating an idea, the work remains open — responsive to the moment of its making and to the interpretation of those who encounter it.
